Soil Micromorphology

Soil Micromorphology is an important science drawing on expertise in such diverse disciplines as Pedology, Archeology, Geology, Engineering Geotechnics.

It provides an important insight into many problems of soil development, diagenesis, and weathering, soil/plant interactions, sedimentology [both terrestial and marine], glaciology, paleo-environmental reconstruction, pollution studies, and ground water flow.
